Job Summary
Chaplains serve as the frontline staff fulfilling the mission and Christian ministry of MCHAP, providing care to employees and their immediate families. Responsibilities include visiting worksites to build relationships, offering confidential pastoral discussions, providing referral services, and supporting employees through life issues. Candidates must demonstrate spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian values, possess excellent listening and communication skills, and have the ability to interact with diverse groups. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required, and the ability to work in various environments is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and to MCHAP's Ministry values.
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting.
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have active state driver's license and state minimum auto insurance.
